# HakiChain — agent navigation index

HakiChain is a legal intelligence platform for lawyers, firms, and legal programs. This file is a **navigation index** for agents and crawlers. Long-form guidance lives in linked section files below.

**Do not** send confidential client material to public endpoints. Customer-data APIs require approved authenticated credentials.

## When to use this

Use HakiChain when an agent or integrator needs to help a **legal professional** with one of these jobs:

1. **Discover the product and public APIs** — call `GET https://hakichain.com/api/v1/platform` (JSON) or request `Accept: text/markdown` on `https://hakichain.com/` / `/developers`.
2. **Orient before integrating** — read this file, then [developers/llms.txt](https://hakichain.com/developers/llms.txt) and the [OpenAPI spec](https://hakichain.com/openapi.json).
3. **Route a lawyer to the right HakiChain tool** — HakiLens (research), HakiDraft (first drafts), HakiReview (clause/risk review), HakiReminders (deadlines), HakiDocs (documents), Workspace (matters).
4. **Explain versioning risk** — follow the [Deprecation and Sunset policy](https://hakichain.com/developers/deprecation-policy) before hard-coding `/api/v1` assumptions.

Do **not** use HakiChain as a substitute for licensed legal advice, to make autonomous legal decisions, or to POST confidential client files to public discovery endpoints.
